Great fun! Amazing how much story and interactivity can come out of an envelope. One of the better escape room in an envelope/box I've played! As is common in the genre, a couple of the solutions to the smaller puzzles we had to look up clues for and left us going "um, ok." But the most the puzzles were quite fun, clever, and the meta puzzle left things on quite a high note! Would highly recommend!

I wish it was clearer, what goes into which envelope. There was some things that we wrote on (in pencil) that I would have liked replaced as well. I was able to erase most of the writing.

There was an error on one print run, where that QR code does point to Ep 1, but the QR code on the lower flap does take you directly to Episode 2.

Unnecessarily hard to read script. Too much time spent wandering around the scroll searching for clues. Flimsy cardboard star thing. It was quite boring actually

Overly complicated. Got really boring by the 12th episode and juat ended up looking up solutions and still couldn't see how they were the answer. The first few were fun but by the end I was over it.

Absolutely loved this game! Difficult enough to be challenging but not frustrating. All answers made complete sense - no far fetched solutions that had us scratching our heads in wonder. Quality of game materials was impressive. We were sad when the experience came to an end. Hopefully there will be new versions to come!

Superb series. Half way there’ My family abandoned me to finish this mission alone (Shackleton would have words for them I’m sure). I’m still enjoying the experience as a single player, taking my time and accepting a few hints here and there. Very well done, team!

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode and I'm looking forward to episode 4. This episode was the first time that I took a hint. I had been trying to solve the bible/book of job/coastline section without success for about a week and finally read the hint. Oh how simple when you know how. I'm still not sure of the relevance of page 24 which was actually labelled page 7 and was upside down. It lead me up many a false trail. Was it just "red herrings" ? In the end I just ignored it.

We enjoyed 1-3 and while this one had some great elements, the puzzles were very easy. The first three took about 90 minutes. We finishes this one in 37:00 according to the app. We are looking forward to the lost library!

My child and I enjoyed the interactive elements to the game. We both enjoyed being able to solve it but also having challenging puzzles to make us “think outside the box”.

We just finished the last episode, after a bit of a delay in receiving it (it was lost in the mail, but Paul was a hero in resolving it, great customer service).

This whole series has been fantastic. The storyline is fun and well presented - and if it's cheesy or showing its low budget in spots, that only adds to the charm!

My wife and I play quite a few puzzle based games together, finding them to be of varying quality. Across the whole Family Secrets series, there's been only very few frustrations or rough spots - a remarkably high hit rate for this sort of game. A ton of variety on types and themes of puzzles too. The clever props, the different types of papers and envelopes, the tactile experience... So much thought and passion has gone into the entire production.

Overall we've been hugely impressed, and are looking forward to picking up the Shackleton series, and whatever Escape Mail does next :)

Loved it! I am happy you are able to play the entire game without needing to destroy or draw on any materials. This way you can share it with friends or play again when you eventually forget the puzzles. It’s also so well organized. Great game.

We love these games, however this one was not good. The hints did not help and the puzzles were so random. Hopefully episode 7 is better!

We try to create variety from one episode to the next and at times, some episodes don't resonate with everyone.
