You can use Escape Mail almost anywhere as an exciting, unexpected and engaging activity for families, friends or couples.
Escape Mail is a family friendly adventure (all content is PG). The difficulty of Escape Mail is suitable for anyone 10 years or older, but playing with an adult is recommended for anyone under the age of 14.
There are 2 difficulties to choose from as well (Standard & Expert). Unless you have solved many escape room games before, or you're a sucker for punishment, we recommend starting with the Standard difficulty.
There is access to tiered hints online. Regardless of the difficulty level you choose, you can always access multiple hints (and the solution) with every puzzle along the way.
Everything you need to solve the puzzle is included in your envelope, with the exception of a pencil and an internet-connected device. Some episodes will also require scissors and tape.

Escape Mail products are the absolute GOLD STANDARD of Escape Room experiences, at a fraction of the cost! My Family and I have visited more than 60 "physical" escape room challenges, some of which are rated among the best in the country. I currently own all of the Escape Mail products and have pre-purchased their newest game. I have found that product design, intellectual challenge, continuity of theme and overall game flow, compare favorably with the best of the best. These games are extremely intuitive, enabled chiefly by a "unique" and optional game flow diagram and they benefit from an obvious effort to incorporate some physical components to more closely resemble a traditional escape room experience. The incorporation of seamless on-line components make the experience feel integrated, diverse and solid. The only thing that I found lacking for a true Escape Room experience, was the "urgency" of a timed challenge and the associated penalty/cost of having to repeat the game. Although conquering this element with a home based product may be impossible, I wouldn't be surprised to someday find that this creative team has scaled that mountain as well. Thank You for some Great Escape Room experiences! I look forward to continued challenges in the future!

Our oldest son got Episode 1 in his stocking for Christmas. It was the Expert edition. We decided to try it out as a family (Mom, Dad, 14M and 11M). We loved the challenge level, although we needed a few minor hints. It was good enough to keep us entertained for a full 90 minutes! There are few things we all like, but we all enjoyed this, so much we bought Episodes 2-12 not long after. It’s become one of our favourite things to do as a family!
